INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
A few months into my time at YML, I organized the first Women’s Day in the agency’s 10 year history.
Our one-day offsite created a safe space for women, and our male allies, to come together and speak freely on ways to improve the workplace. We then partnered closely with the executive team who championed significant changes based on our efforts. Now in it’s third year, the event has successfully been handed off to the newly-formed People team as an annual staple at YML.
Since the launch of this initiative, the number of women in leadership at YML have tripled and our women’s efforts have been featured in AdWeek.
